On September 29, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will host its first in a series of webinars called “Medical Countermeasure (MCM) Link.” This is a new engagement strategy to continue the process of connecting state and local health departments to the most current information regarding MCM dispensing and distribution. In an effort to ensure they address questions regarding MCM topics, CDC’s Division of Strategic National Stockpile and Division of State and Local Readiness will host periodic webinars to provide current updates on all aspects of the program and to interact directly with state and local Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) or MCM planners.
The first webinar in the MCM Link series will provide an overview of the SNS Formulary and all related updates:
– Who: The intended audience for this webinar is operational-level SNS or MCM planners at state or local health departments.
– When: Monday Sept. 29, 2014:
- FEMA Regions 1, 2, & 3 from 10:00am – 11:30am EDT
- FEMA Regions 4 & 6 from 12:30pm – 2:00pm EDT
- FEMA Regions 5, 7, & 10 from 3:00pm – 4:30pm EDT
- FEMA Regions 8 & 9 from 6:00pm – 7:30pm EDT
Each of the four webinar sessions will cover the same content and space is limited to the first 125 participants for each session. If multiple people from your organization will be attending the webinar, please view the webinar from the same computer when possible. Please also attend the session that corresponds to your assigned FEMA region.
See the UPDATED webinar information below for your respective FEMA region (all times below are Eastern Daylight Time and were scheduled to best accommodate working hours in the respective regions). There is no longer a limitation in the number of spaces for each of the webinar time slots. Webinar content will be the same for each session.
